David R. Carey

David’s career spans 45 years in telecom and energy services industries and he is the founder of TeleScope Advisors, LLC, an advisory firm specializing in telecommunications. Mr. Carey served as Executive Vice President at T Mobile, US from 2013 thru 2020 and during the successful turnaround of T Mobile and the acquisition of Sprint Corp. Prior to this he served as Executive Vice President at Global Crossing Limited, a telecommunications company, from September 1999 to October 2011 where he held several executive positions including CMO, Head of Global Sales, Strategy and Corporate Development and Chief Ethics Officer. In addition to Global Crossing, his experience includes executive leadership positions at AT&T, LG&E Energy and Frontier Communications. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Alliance Corporation and Tessco, which are distributors of telecommunications equipment in the US and Canada. He is currently engaged by Digital Bridge Investments as a Senior Advisor. He served as a director Wind Mobile of Canada and Advisory Boards of Hewlett-Packard Corporation and PICS Telecom. Mr. Carey holds a Master of Science in Management Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he was appointed to a Sloan Fellowship, and received his Bachelor of Science degree at Clarkson University. He has also attended executive programs at the Harvard Business School and Wharton.
